Character: White powder or granule. Soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents.
Uses: Used in the food industry as a starch modifier, as a water retention agent in meat processing, as a stabilizer in cheese and dairy products and as a stabilizing agent to protect food from discoloration and the decomposition of vitamin C. Also used as a raw material in vitamin C phosphate.
Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and a compound paper-plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
Storage & Transportation: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport. Unload with care as to avoid being damaged. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
